Eight Oh Two, a proven leader in search engine and performance marketing, is proud to announce the hiring of Mike Merriman as its newest business development specialist.
Before joining Eight Oh Two, Merriman — who specializes in AI communications and is proficient with Salesforce, SalesLoft and Outreach — has spent the last five years working in the higher education realm utilizing his skills to drive enrollment. Before this, he optimized sales and marketing for over 30 grocery brands in more than 120 stores across the southeast.
In his new role at Eight Oh Two, Merriman will help to identify, cultivate, and convert qualified leads into clients all while fostering strong relationships and exceeding revenue targets. In this role, his focus will be on developing and executing strategic business development initiatives while conducting thorough market research to identify potential clients, industries and trends. He will manage a pipeline of potential clients through a CRM system while prioritizing high-value prospects. Additionally, Merriman will develop and deliver presentations tailored to client needs and challenges and assist with onboarding of new clients to ensure a smooth transition into Eight Oh Two’s unique services.
